Miss Julie grew up dancing starting at the age of 4. Jazz was her main focus until High School when she found a passion for Hip Hop. After graduation in 2005, Julie attended Kent State University as a dance major, danced for the Cuyahoga Falls IBL Dance Team and became an Instructor for her studio for 6 years before they closed. She continued to explore the dance world and taught ballroom dance in class and for private students.
Julie not only teaches dance, but also yoga. She has found a passion in bringing the two worlds together to help build stronger and safer dancers.
Miss Julie loves animals and has 3 dogs, Mera (Great Dane), Leo (Great Dane) and Tucker (Mix). She also spends her free time hanging out with her chickens and ducks.
Miss Julie first taught a competitive dance in 2021 and has since taught 4 solos, a duet and multiple group dances!
Miss Alexis has been a part of the dance world for 26 years, 10 of which she has spent teaching. She grew up a competitive dancer and now shares that same passion with her students. Miss Alexis prides herself on expanding her dance knowledge by attending workshops and conventions, including SYTYCD and Greg Russell.
Miss Alexis has a love for teaching Jazz which has recently been outranked by Contemporary. She truly loves the breaking through of raw emotion and connection to the music.
Miss Alexis started taking dance classes right here on Main Street in Norwalk. Her studio was named Dance Impressions and used to be right where Lonz Law Firm currently resides.
Though Miss Alexis has no children (aside from her dance kids), she frequently deals with her sassy cat named Valkyrie and her new kitten.
Ms. Kristina is an upcoming high school PE/Health teacher. She cheered for Norwalk and danced at Northstar Dance Center for 7 years and 6 competitively before going off to college at Ohio University and dancing with the OU Vibrations dance team where she was also their social media chair and vice president. She graduated with her BS in exercise physiology and obtained a certificate in performance wellness. She is big on injury prevention and keeping dancers/athletes safe.
Kristina fell in love with dance at a young age and always knew it would play a role in her life as an adult.
Miss Kristina took an ancestry trip to Poland to learn more about her family’s heritage. She visited Prague, the Warsaw castle and Auschwitz. Her favorite part of the trip was learning how to make pierogi’s from scratch.
Miss Kristina is the middle child of 5 girls! She also almost pursued a career as a dance athletic trainer.
